In reply to Tracer and Demon, Lydenburg is a great place to stop for a break before heading over the mountain, (the big one) to hazyview.
Should anybody wish to stop in Lydenburg for fuel, coffee or a nature break, please let us know, us microlighters in Lydenburg would be pleased to help out and meet you guys. We will need prior notice to arrange for the fuel to be there, so please let us know, also type of fuel required, approx ETA etc. Avgas could be a problem in quantity, but a small amount is available.
The local micro flyers are based at the Lydenburg airfield, nice and looooong and wide.
Please note that a string of power lines has been erected approx. 100mt from the threshold of Laske Nakke airstrip, i.e. on the eastern side, so if you choose to land there, do be carefull..
easy does it,
Dirk

For this trip you must say Laskenakke backwards.
Now that the Hotel is full, may we camp under the wing? I would like to join you for Thursday night but need to go again Friday morning.
