Thanks guy !

Yes, she is looking good, can't wait to get her in the air, need to get her assembled and ready for the AP so that I can start the paperwork.

Gunter, when are you going to be in our neck of the woods again ? Would be great if we can meet and talk planes, and go fly vhpy

Dish, how are you my mate ? When are you usually at Aeroden ? Want to pop around again sometime, I don't even have a single photo of your baby !

Fly safe everyone,
Rudi

Take note of the Cyrillic writing on the instruments, at least we know what they are for !

i agree with weedy on this one. Take the engine and put the airframe on a pole at the entance to rhino park s027
I have seen, and flown alongside the mig quite often, and it seemed to me an expensive way to convert noise into
lift  You have a nice toy box - keep it that way :?:
Hi Barry,

No, don't agree with you, just because it is not fast does not take away any of its character vhpy Speed is not everything.....

The toy box must be balanced, on the one end I have the 200+ mph KR2S (3300 Jabiru powered) and on the other end the Aviatika, horses for courses

The Aviatika can do a few things non of the others can do, I can't see myself doing long cross countries with it but then again non of the others can spin/loop/roll and I think it will make a great camera platform for air to ground work, plus I have always liked biplanes.....

I will take you for a "spin" in it sometime vhpy

Fly safe,
Rudi

Yes, have to plead guilty to the collector part....

Hope to see you again soon at a fly-in, might "drop in" at the Microland breakfast

Thanks s057, the "restoration" is half the fun, you must see some of my other (non flying) projects ! (My poor, long suffering softness)

The Russians use the metric system.

VSI units are in m/s (meters per second) (1m/s = 196.85 ft/min)

ASI units are in km/h (kilometers per hour) (1km/h = 0.6213 km/h)

Here is a link for a very usefull conversion calculator.

Hi Ldel,

Yes, Gunter is correct, the VSI is in m/s and the ASI km/h vhpy

I am sure you will see it soon, btw, I am going flying now, crappy life hey ?

Thanks Gunter, that calculator is useful !

Hi Emil,

There is a long history (often documented) of you trying to ride Rudix and TanyaK over an agenda that only you know about.

I will report your post in the hope that it gets deleted.

Please explore other avenues to add value to this Forum.

Kind regards

Maybe I should rather not say any thing back
I was actually just interested if some one found the owner of the one that was at rhino for years.
And would have been happy to see her airborne again

If you read all the posts I have made here about the plane it was all good luck and a nice plane
But hey ,..you go wild
And bout the 100000 of hours Dave has…it is so that Rudi can get help if needs be Dave is at the same field as he is…

So exactly what was wrong with the post again ??????
