One of our builders had to take it past it's design limit, as it is a similar requirement of some flying authorities over the high seas.

Eventually the mechanism used to hold the wing broke at somewhere past 11G mark.

Eish Gavin,

Sorry to hear about your trouble.

FFS, the CAA are getting really muddled now, Can't they read previous records????????? This aircraft's documentation from BUD Evans, the designer, must be in the CAA files.

I feel sorry for you and all other homebuilders that are being penalised and basically discriminated against.

I hope you reach a simple solution that is will have set a precedent for all homebuilders that follow.

The way it looks at present is that all homebuilders will be forced to go the kit route, the expensive route, and the shoestring/ low budget builders are being taken out of the equation.

Kind regards,

Jaaaaa swaer. These outjies still have not realized that they are a private company, and we are their scourse of income. Now if you have a bussiness, and you f.....k your clients around like they are doing us now, they will very soon run out of clients. Question is: how long are we going to tolerate this shit??
