You can't take the Wintervogel boere squadron anywhere, if they not busy with a "stookketel" you find them in the back of a Police Van hardly four hours after arriving at the Vredendal fly-in and visiting the Maskam Hotel.........!

Goeie genade!!!
When we played the "de la rey" song on the dukebox in the hotels pub, the locals got up with their rugbyshorts and long socks to actually salute us for playing sulke "bef@kte musiek" as they called it. Needles to say there were no english music loaded in that duke box.
But what Tobie said above is the whole truth and nothing but the truth.....

I would be interested in a jack. Do you have drawings, or diagrams? Or do you sell the whole contraption?

O.K. This could work.
On Thursday the 30th Aug. I am in Capetown. On Friday the 31st I am in Durban.
So this is my suggestion: When I am in Capetown, Harlequin will reveal to me the finer details of the above mentioned Aquilla jack. I will then pass this knowledge on to John Young the next day when I am in Durban.
Needless to say, this knowledge transfer will only be successful if the appropriate quantity of libation has been consumed.

Gents.
Glad to give you the details, even if you have five thumbs you could make one.
I will search for some of the pics I took of the proto model and post them. I offered this to solo wings who didn’t seen too impressed??
Unfortunately I’m a snow bird, work in JHB and live in CT on the weekends. Won't be there on the 30th. Have tried to hook up with clubs that have a mid week gathering with no luck yet, keen to share the details with you if you are in JHB. Pm contact details.
Safe flying.
Graham.

Had a great weekend in the air.
Saturday…..felt a little out of place, one against three. Three doctors and a miner, what a combination!!
Met with Gert at Morningstar and joined up with the Wintervogel clan for a chat and then went down to the coast. Pics speak for themselves. See Gerts log on site- zu-dve.
Graham.

This is how the day started off.

Sunday……… Had a flight with my old flying partner from up north, Lucas from Aggeneys.
Had a great flight, taking pics of Hans above some mist banks. Some good, safe, precision flying by all pilots.
