Help with Airband TR720 please

Postby Willie » Mon Jun 04, 2007 8:12 pm

Herewith a photo of the radio face. I need an adaptor to connect a headset and mic to this old radio. I would also like to know how to use the memo 123 in the top left corner. No reply from my AVCOM friends yet

Connectors

Willie, the plugs are freely available and may be sourced in SA, the two major suppliers are RS Components and Mantech who are UK Farnell agents both available on the web. RS are a on line store. Alternatively another supplier in Pretoria is Comunica which trade as Electronics 123 also web sales, they have impressed me recently with available products.

I am sure even that Demon may have something in his cupboard for you. The socket looks like a Amphenol product which both stock. It is not necessary to import this device as I have other contacts if you dont come right..

Good Luck
