Prop pitch and size

Postby Bennie Vorster » Fri Jun 01, 2007 10:35 am

How do I know what is the best pitch to use with my plain. Seems like the revs is running a bit high at cruising speed. :?

One answer, Phone Pieter De Necker. You will need to tell him what ratio reduction drive/gearbox you have. Prop length should be 72 inches for the BB

Be aware increasing pitch will reduce your rpm at cruise but will also reduce the rate of climb.
