14 Nov 2015: BIG Fly in @ FABS (Brits)

Brits Flying Club will have their 6th Peter Hengst Memorial Fly-in on 14 November 2015. This follows on to last year's big success.

We expect a massive attendance (much bigger than the successful 2014 event):
-The EAA will use this day to have the EAA Sun&Fun at Brits with pilots arriving on the Friday already.
-Neil Bowden will host an Oshkosh 2014 reunion (pilgrimage).
-The Airplane Factory have a Sling owners get together.

As always, the microlighters are all welcome for coffee and breakfast, or stay the whole day.

Camping, food, AVGAS and MOGAS available.

Brits is expecting you from Friday until Sunday, but Saturday is the BIG day!

Let's see plenty trikes on Saturday morning

As die weer en die gesondheid saam werk is ek Saterdag oggend vroeg daar met my Topless Aquilla 582. Sal invlieg vir n vinnige brekkie saam met vroulief. Kom manne ondersteun die mense, daar kon nog baie meer trikes op Potties gewees het. As afstand die verskoning was, Brits is baie nader die ouens van Kroon gaan nie eers 5 lt. soon toe en terug gebruik nie

The time is here ! So far it sounds like 60 campers are planning to converge on Brits.
The Airplane Factory are going to attempt the biggest number of Slings together.
Hot air balloon will do a night glow, wind permitting.
Come try your hand on the unique SA designed sailplane simulator.
Bosveld hospitality and good food.
The first of its kind Adventure Rally to be flown tomorrow ! (GPS's are allowed).

Otherwise, just expect lots of aviation, aviation and aviation.

Pitty about the weather, very few Trike flew in.

Yup = was me in the sling, really enjoying the PPl and this was one of the first of hopefully many out of the patch experiences - Flew (with my trusted instructor) from Panormana. Was awesome. Thanks for the photo Johann
