Re: THE MICROLAND THREAD..."Home of the Tailwinds"
Love is Blind
Ed and Nancy met while on a singles cruise, and Ed fell head over
heels for her.
Then they discovered they lived in the same city only a few miles apart. Ed stated dating her when they got home. Within a couple of weeks, Ed had taken Nancy to
dance clubs, restaurants, concerts, movies, and museums. Ed was convinced that Nancy was indeed his true soul mate and love of his life. Every date seemed better than the last.
On the one-month anniversary of their first dinner on the cruise ship, Ed took Nancy to a fine restaurant. While having cocktails and waiting for their salad, Ed said, "I guess you can tell I love you very much. I'd like a little serious talk before our relationship rises to the next level. So, before I get this small box out of my jacket and ask you a life-changing question, it's only fair to warn you, that I'm a total golf nut. I play golf, I read about golf, I watch golf on TV. In short, I eat, sleep and breathe
golf. If that's going to be a problem for us, you'd better say so now!"
Nancy took a deep breath and responded, "Ed, that certainly won't be a problem. I love you as you are and I love golf too; but, since we're being totally honest with each other, you need to know that for the last five years I've been a hooker."
Ed said, "I bet it's because you're not keeping your wrists straight when you hit the ball."

Will you please bring charcoal for Saturday?
We will bring salad.
We still need someone to bring chilly garlic roles, Stef will you do that...but you must remember!
Sweets, Yvone or Fiona?
I want to go look see what the Cosmos is doing this year. So a flight to the South of Delmas is where I am goin. By now one should be able to see where the potentially good spots are going to be.

Re: THE MICROLAND THREAD..."Home of the Tailwinds"
Thanks to all for the great fly & braai. Flying was great and the turn out was fantastic. Thanks Sout & Hans, from FASI, for the brief visit. Next time please stay for the braai. And as always Merv and Fanie and Stefan for all the balloon launching until 8 in the evening. We have it taped now...each one was successful...well except for the one that caught a-light on the ground. Wonder what the locals thought of these strange glowing flying objects---UFO's

Sorry to have missed this one boys....Paul...as long as you only burn down YOUR hanger with those floating condoms I'm happy...
Looks like you guys are finally getting the "hang" of it.
Next braai weekend is supposed to be the 19th...it's easter weekend...I can make it, but many may not be here?
Should we maybe move it to the 26th?
Your thoughts?

Re: THE MICROLAND THREAD..."Home of the Tailwinds"
Alan, that is why we launch them at the airfield and down wind from any structure. In December we launched one at home and caught a groot skrik.
You and your family must join us sometime...everyone...young and old..enjoys it.
There are always people who can't make it for many reasons. I can definitly make it. Unless I fly to my destination I am very hesitant to go away over a long weekend....especially the Easter weekend.
Looks like our Moz trip is going to be from the 26th April to 4th May.
But it is only me from FABA that is going.
Tomorrow morning looking good for a flight. I will be there.
