Hi all, had a great hour and a half flight this morning. Congrats Mark on your new Cobra....she is beautiful!!

Alan, I will contact ATC tomorrow and find out what is required. I don't think it is going to be a problem. We will ALL just have to get Clearance, ....as was the case during the 2010 FIFA WC. There will be windows of, no fly, but our times should be OK.

Saw BM at FABA this morning, he will be flying out with us on Friday.

Can you believe it, the Voltage regulator on AMH has packed up....so have to sort that out before Friday.

Lekker to be back......missed you guys and the flying terribly.

Sorry guys that I took so long to come back on the restriction issue, but I was waiting for an official reply from the SAAF Authorization committee. I requested authorization for three or more Microlights to fly from FABA to FAGL on Friday morning and back on Monday morning. They responded this morning, and I quote:

"Sorry to inform you, if the microlights are not transponder equipped, it mean no flying until 20 Dec ‘13"

So, we can not fly out nor back without a transponder.

Myself and Stef will be driving through on Friday afternoon and back again on Monday afternoon. Hope you guys will still join us.
