At the braai this weekend we must decide on a logo for the Tailwinds.

I have already submitted my design some time ago....
Tailwinds Logo.jpg
and so has Paul....I will print it and bring it along for the vote. (Paul if you could please do the same?)

So you guys have just this week left to come up with a design and bring it along on Sat. (^^)

See you guys then. vhpy

Missing out on the braai again this Saturday :( Move the braai venue closer to Brasil  Enjoy guys (^^), looking forward to seeing some of you at Numbi...Bundy, your logo has my vote, and after Numbi we can have a look at that troublesome Skydat switch.

Paul, I must somehow fund this flying addiction, but one thing is for sure.....fly, run, crawl, whatever it takes, I''ll be at Numbi :) I will contact you next week with regards to where I can join up (Middelburg?) for the flight to Numbi. Enjoy the braai!!

Braai is this Sat Grobbie, we moved it up a week this month to accomodate the guys who are off to Numbi next weekend. (^^)

Yes unfortunately it does clash with the Bok game in kiwiland but hey, we will tune in to the game on the radio! (^^) Some of you folks were born before they even invented colour tv so should be a nice trip down memory lane... haha
Perhaps someone has a "drifter" they can bring along? :)

I will as usual bring the charcoal and some breads for us. (^^)

I also need to find a willing person who can cart the MISASA banner to Numbi? Any volunteers??
Will bring it along on Saturday...

Cheers. vhpy

Wet nog nie Stefanus. vhpy

Did some more runway inspections this morning. Silver Lakes & the strip just to the North of Kittyhawk, Strp01, all long forgotten and overgrown. The latter even has anthills on it and the buildings are broken down and occupied by....?? Looks like it was quite a nice airfield some years ago....very sad. In fact, it looks safer to land next to the runway in the veld, at least there you won't see the upcoming impending obstructions (**)

Another one, Ephraim Aeronautical Estate, sounds impressive? :( , between Cullinan and the N4, just south of A4, is usable in an emergency. Cows are using it as a passage to the feeding crib so, it is longitudinally rutted.

See you all on Saturday. (^^) (^^)
