It looks to be the best morning for flying of the year tomorrow

It looks like I will be doing flips tomorrow, couple of friends that have never flown before

Thanks Dawid, Joe and Nick for the flight this morning. Just over 2 hrs to Renosterkop and back with a P stop at Rhino on the way back. Dix help me pull the bar my eyes are watering . What a beautiful flight through the Gorge. Can not believe there are such beautiful places so close to Pretoria. And then...of course..all the K@K praat in the lapa afterwards...and then Robbie went SOLO so some more K@K praat and beer and wine later...what a great bunch of guys and 1 girl...Dionne!

Sorry to the Rhino traffic for my comms problem. This is very strange. I cleaned, retightened all the connections and tested...seems to be ok now. Hope so . Intermittent problems are very difficult to fix. It is not the batteries, the radio one is new and fully charged and the Airmagic batts are 15 hrs old ?? If that happens again I am going to unplug the 12v charge connection?? See if the radio dies?

I am out there tomorrow again. My son wants to go for a flight....oh we'll OK .. OK ..if I must...twist twist..lets go fly

3rd August 2013 @07.35. "A day I will never forget"

I found it challenging to enter my front door last night at home,,, it wasnt the tot of "Johhnie Walker Blue" my instructor gave me, it was due to smile on my face that took up all the space on my face hey hey hey...I woke up this morning with the same smile.....can only one slap me please wife tried it don't work hey hey " keep it clean boys" this is a public website.
I would like to take this opportunity to take all for the support, to many to mention, however some most be singled out...
My loving wife for putting up with early mornings and every late 3rd sat late night live ... "Love you"
My pax "Mervyn" this in one man you would always want in the seat behind you when the weather is rough and unkind.... Guys if you ever have Mervyn behind you ask him to tell you the joke about beans "human beans" make sure both seat belt are locked .... He rocks the trike like prop wash.....hey hey hey
My other pax "Fanie" to an instructor that flys perfectly with his eyes closed ... Enjoyed every moment when we flew together we need to rack up more hours Boet... "Thank you"
And to the boys and girl under the grass roof ... Sharing time and stories with you all is so much fun.....to all out there that have not experienced the get together every 3rd sat of the month you must try make a effort to do so making friends and meeting fellow aviators is the way to go... The stories told adds live to your soul "laughter is the best medicine" So come join us under the grass roof and belong somewhere....

Allan, Paul, Steph, we all need to have our deck chairs placed in the middle of runway 03 and 21 with 6 beers each talking boys stuff "are you guys on the bus that day it leaves from the grass hut one warm Saturday afternoon...
