Apparently there's a bunch of guys flying to Barberton this weekend for an airshow of sorts

You guys know anything about this?

I'm contemplating taking Friday off and going with...

It seems to be the "Barberton Lowveld Airshow" and some guys from Rhino (Marius) are going. He said so this morning when we met him at Rhino Park.

Thanks Faiz and Frank for the lekker flying this morning. It was one of the best flights this year for me. Bumpy over Springs but smooth the rest of the way. And the coffee warmed the cockles up nicely.

Also, well done to Fanie's student that went solo this morning. She creamed her first solo landing on 27...text book. Well, what do you expect when you were instructed by one of the best. We just had to stay and watch.

Lekker flight to Heidelberg. Thanks, Joe, Dawid, Ray and the others for the saamvlieg. It was super smooth at any altitude. Sorry I didn't come with for the breakfast. I had a serious headache. No time to get sick now....with the Kruger Park walk coming up next week.

What a great day to fly an airplane...flew with Fiz to Steve's spot...ek dink hulle slaap nog?

Landed there while Fiz headed back and picked up some Straglers heading home from TC's when I was about to take off. Flew back formation with the Petit boys

It's on days like this I realise how much I love to fly.

Well, after i managed to defy my battery and get my engine started i was all alone and ended up spending a much needed hour in the circuit!! seemed a waste considering the weather but still time well spent

Thanks Nick. Seems to be a passing thing. Went to bed early Saturday evening and Sunday it was gone.

Glad you got some flying in Alan. The weather was awsome this weekend for flying.... and there I was on Sunday doing mandatory shopping with 3 million other people. What fun

Off to the the bushveld on Wednesday for some hiking and camping. Can't wait. And I don't want to know how nice the weather is while I am away else it makes me jealous...
