Have you looked at the post here : viewtopic.php?t=1526&sid=28aa2788dae20d ... 540d261cb2

Today is the 20th of May 2006 at 17:10SAST
I am staring at the graph and I predict a very bumpy Sunday. We (in JHB) are just ahead of a very odd cold frontal system and it shows heavy wind (South Westerly)

Conditions for Natal don't look much better, Heavy rainfall has been reported and the frontal system predetermines flying conditions.

Cape Town seems to be prevalant South Easterly and conditions seem fly-able. Isobars are far apart and it indicates to me a steady wind.

The outlook for East London seems to be better than for PE, PE looks to be suffering a heavy northwester.

Guys - feel free to rip my analysis to pieces - Trying to stay a bit more current on the weather and my assumption - Clockwise around a low, counter clockwise around a high system in the southern hemisphere. PLEASE correct me if my prediction is wrong!

Thanks Demon, the show was great. Against all odds we woke up to a good base and after some morning ground mist had cleared we had a great show till about 1.30 when rain stopped play. We had about 15000 through the gate and don't think many more would have pitched after about 1.00.
