Oh but we are... we don't want a bad thing to happen again after Les had gone to exceptional lengths to secure such awesome events for you guys... 'tis all!

We want the chaps attending to set the trend... set the example... clear all issues that cloud the perception that microlight pilots are "lesser" pilots.. 'tis all! vhpy

People must realise that there are consequences to their actions, some intended, most times unintended! ## ##

In this case, dare I suggest that a possible consequence of CKC apologising and recognising the errors of his ways, AND agreeing to tow the line going forward, is that he may indeed receive an invitation to fly this time, notwithstanding outstanding fees being paid, of course! :wink:

We all owe it to our fellow pilots to operate at the highest level of safety and responsibility AT ALL TIMES!

Unfortunately its not up to us to invite him, thats up to the Airforce who stated that he'd never receive authority again.

ZU-CKC WILL NOT ENTER THEIR AIRSPACE, neither current registered owner. Change of ownership of that aircraft is the only thing that will change that!

No apology was forthcoming at the time and that's the end of that!

Ok, with time running out, is this still happening?
If so, where can I fill in the forms and fax them to?
Are we flying in to Swartkops, and doing a flypast at Waterkloof, and if so, which day? The Saturday, or the Sunday?

Sorry guys! this one is not going to happen. I'm unable to organize this and after a lengthy discussion with Col. Hanekom we mutually agreed that it's best that we stand down on this one for the time being. I thought that we best limit this to a once a year bash and not just plod along with not much time left to organize a proper show. i trust that you guys understand and accept the decision :oops:
