And finally, after a bit of tinkering and welding, silencer system nearly completed. ( Ran out of gas  ) Not long now. I went for the 2 in 1 system, it leaves the underside of the engine uncluttered for cooling. More space for oil cooler and radiator. vhpy But dog-tired. Going to collapse now.

Tonight is cold enough to freeze the crown jewells right off a brass monkey. I wanted to work on my plane a bit later, but my feet on the cement floor, and the temperature inside the workshop dictated otherwise. Progress is a bit slow, but hopefully I will get the last things on the to do list completed this weekend. (!!)

I gave the prop a complete clean up and replaced all the bolts.

Most of today spent on finishing the exhaust system, most of the wiring sorted and the bracket made for the radiator. I am taking my time with this installation, as I want it trouble-free. Today was another bloody freeezing cold day here, with NO rain. I tried in vain to heat the paint booth up, bit the bullet and spray painted the cowling. It actually came out allright, exept for a little paint run, fortunately where I am going to put some red trim, so no problemo. It is hellishly difficult to paint in such crappy cold weather. Nou kooi toe. Ga nou lekker rus! (^^) (^^)
