Wow, I grew up 2 miles away from here in Merrivale. Not sure if this field existed way back then - if I'd known about it as a lightie I would have been a hangar-rat there rather than at Oribi. Howick Airfield also has a group of really friendly aviators that would welcome you. Have given me hangar space freely when visiting my family there in the past.

Aerosan, I have many fond memories of Sleepy Hollow. Go there with the right mindset and you will never regret it.

Good luck mate

Hi guys

I have just spend that last 3 days in PMB and must say that I was suprized 8) nice people, nice town- busy town:!:b I saw a million houses, drove all over the place. Now once work talk money it will decition time. Thank you to everyone who helped.

Ok, now I have to comment on this, met a lady at an agency, for houses that is, Natal Properties. In conversation I mention that I need to find an airfield close by as I cannot find James`s field but will speak to him later and get better directions. Turns out that her hubby flies a Cheeta from there and was at the field at that minute :!: :!:

Sheesh so I made a short trip to Eva`s field  What a runway   I will feel way too sorry to land and that manicured lawn (-) James, you must spend at least 8 out of 7 days prepapring the strip. Guys I have never in my life seen something so perfect (^^) (^^) (^^)

Even If I do not move to PMB I will have to fly down and at least just land on it....once only second time round I will not want to leave

Have fun ladies

Cheers Sanna

what a stroke of luck to meet Dawn and the connection with our field vhpy

it will be good to meet you next time and you are welcome to fly in anytime- even if it's just for a quick stop
