Hey All...

Wow, what an awesome event...Les (^^) (^^) (^^) (!!) (!!)

SAAF ATC.... (^^) (^^) (!!) (!!)

Just 1 nervous moment....

Alpha and Percy (aka Rainman) on our way from Klip and Heidelberg, wheels up at 15:59....According to calculations, wind etc...ETA 17:30...great...

Cross over from Microland freq to FAWK...ATC says...please orbit about 10 Mins....17:30...I dont think so (**) Sun now below horizon....

I hear WRJ(Madman) requesting inbound clearance, ATC says..North of Church street...WRJ Negative...ATC North of Attridgeville...WRJ Negative....WRJ..Excuse me Ma'am do you know where AERO57 is? (**) (**) ATC gives Madman a route.....under normal circumstances the pilot should repeat the instruction...but Madman rewrites the book...and says..."Copy That"...nothing else  lol (^^) From now on...we call him copy negative...lol

We Alpha and Percy get clearance..straight in on 01...time 17:40.....WRJ (Madman) and WWF (Tailspin) get cleared in...19....wooooohoooooo Chain gang make an entrance landing at 01 and 19 simultaneously....under IFR....

Awesome flying....what a weekend....

Well done to all the pilots who participated....u guys r Awesome!!!

John.com...u da man...thanks for the fuel...

In Oz, the following applies with regards to radio usage on 123.45 :“Communications between aircraft on this frequency are restricted to the exchange of information relating to aircraft operations only”.
It should not be used as a general chat freq.(this however does not always happen)
How many trikes were involved in the fly past.
It must have been awesome vhpy
