What does it really matter, who flies the fastest?

I mean where are you going too? The whole idea is to fly and enjoy every second of it!! If you want speed get into a Bugatti Veyrron,Lambo or Ferrari or a King Air.
Compared to microlights even the Cessna 172 will cruise past any microlight at 120 knots. At this speed the WW or GT R will look like 2 muskiete in mid-air reverse.
We do recreational flying, not flying for business purposes, that's a different matterIf you are a speed freak, then you are in the wrong department. Pass "Go" and collect R51 million for a King Air or go to jail.
My old C172 had a power prop going no where slowly. I know of some C172's that will do it but not many my old one on a good day will cruise 85kts no wind.
Try 2:45min to JHB from Ladysmith was going to get out and walk but I was to high.
Talking about speed the faster, higher and biggest noise and I'm in. It does not mean that you have to land soon you can always take the scenic route

Hi,
IMHO - trees have had to be cut down to specially feed the extra paperwork required on this one.
Would be nice to get an update.

Unconfirmed but I heard that the Thunderbolt wiped itself out. Maybe Alex can update us on what the status is with the trike?
