Us again!,
Mum had a great hard landing but just fine! My son on the other hand looks buggard. Anyway we are camping between 2 hangars car in front and natures ablutions at its best at the back. Anybody know Francios ? He came to greet us. He was impressed with Henk. Especially the speed his trike does. We figured out who he was talking about just by the equipment he carries around for flooring!!! Oh! yes, can you believe this NO alcohol sold on Sunday in any shop! We have had to pace ourselves on NON ALCOHOLIC BAVARIA. Ouch!
We plan to leave for Soetvlakte tomorrow morn.
Chat to you all soon.

I had the oppotunity of taking off with Ouma and flying with her to Westonaria as I was going to Carltonville. At Westonaria she veered off to the south routing for Klerksdorp.
We had a couple of guys wishing her well over the air, amasing how many people know about her trip. We are sure to track your progress - Good luck and fly safe.

The trip yesterday was a 3,5 hour stretch.
Tomorrow she is off to Upington, 130Knts leg.

Hi Helga

I suppose you would have done your homework properly, but I just want to remind you that the Namibian CAA might require you to have an Authority to Fly issued by them before you may enter their airspace, I know of Microlighters that was troubled with this burocracy!

Where do you plan to cross the border, if it is at Riefontein perhaps, remember they can be full of crap, I cross it by vehicle quite often!

Enjoy your trip

All the best Helga and I hope that she has a fantastic time.

Marc both you and Helga are seriously behind on the feature story on Panaroma. Three months have nearly flown and the next deadline looms! I will however do a swop if you do not have the time for two stories. I am hoping that this adventure gets to be shared more widely by you contributing a small story ( really big ones are also encouraged).

I suspect that you know that both Mike and James are a valuable source of info on flying in Namibia.
