I saw this new baby fly at the Aeroden breakfast

Weather was really not nice and let me tell you it was helluva impressive noting how stable this new airy appeared on take-off into very gusting conditions when compared to other trikes

I reckon you have a winner there Hendrik

Thanks Nico for the photo's. ........... Yes, I agree 100%. This is an amazing trike. Here a bit of data of my ground speed from Petit to Aeroden and back with some changing wind conditions - tail wind to Aeroden and head to cross wind back to Petit: Average ground speed = 127 km/h, Max ground speed recorded during flight = 172 km/h. ......... VEry impressive - What it the sq meterage of the wing?

Is it a 912s or UL? What is your rate of climb one up?

Of all the trikes at the Aeroden breakfast your take-off roll was the shortest (Bearing in mind there was a tailwind and some guys probably purposely kept the trikes on the ground for longer) - But the apollo was notably shorter on the take-off roll and as mentioned earlier it seemed MUCH more stable once airborne

I phoned Jenya and complimented him on his wing telling him about your take-off in gusty conditions and how it compared to other trikes - He was modest and said that perhaps the wind stopped blowing for a while  I don't think so

Halle Dawid

It''s a 13 m2 wing with a 912 UL(80hp). Rate of climb not 100% sure a this moment. Me and Jenya are still busy adjusting the position of the control bar. As you can see in some of the photos, the bar is a bit to far forward on take off. With a small adjustment on cable length, we're going to move the neutral position of the control bar back which will even shorter my take off roll. So, not 100% yet, but we will get there.

Cheers
