Kokoriba Breakfast 26 Dec, Friday
A breakfast fly-inn to Kokoriba (10 NM) north of Brits Flying Club takes place this Friday, 26 December. For those staying the day, bring swimming gear etc. The owner says they have braai facilities, shops etc, at the venue.

What time will Breakfast be ready? I need to know, so I can decide whether we should bring our costumes and stay the day, to fly back the afternoon? Costs involved etc?

Flying in, no entry fees involved. I believe this includes crew and family driving in by road. Mike (ZS-MJM) is organizing. Sounds like nice family outing and believe many pilots will have kids there. Contact Mike @ 082 855zero 5 eight 2. I will definitely see you there. ZU-AZP

Sorry guys... those Co-ords will get you in the required area, but these are slightly more accurate, I checked it on Google Earth as well.

Re: Kokoriba Breakfast 26 Dec, Friday
Had the privelage of breaking my first week at work in two with a brekkie at Kokoriba yesterday. Can't work a full week when coming back, as a friend mentioned, you start the year on the back foot.
Great fly inn, nice runway and the food is good. Can recommend it any day. About a two hundred meter walk from the runway to the restaurant, and for any one flying in for brekkie - or lunch - coffee is for free. Nice gesture from the lodge owner.
P.S. The runway doesn't show on Google yet, but the coordinates are spot on.

Yes, I agree with Ldel, a nice trip to Kokoriba and the runway is in good condition.

Andre,
So far the plan is to fly out there on Saturday morning. Will confirm tomorrow.
Am I correct in saying that the runway is 800m? (We got a Jora from Ingwe that wants to join us as well)
