yeah I agree. It's a pity about the wind forecast preventing all but 1 trike from attending and putting a bit of a rush on us the get back to Morning Star before the predicted howling gales in the afternoon. Gert joined from Aurora, Grumpy and I, Bluesmancoops, Kees Hage and Mark Maddon with dad were the only Morning Star attendees. Sean Curren came in a blik.

Breaky was great, cooked by a gorgeous girl and the company as usual was excellent.

Going there with tailwind it took 35 minutes and back about 55 but I first took Grumpy around past Paternoster and St Helena before routing back. Our total flying time for the day was 2:15 My temperature guage showed outside temps of 38 deg C  As expected thermal bumps and gusting headwind made the return flight interesting.

Presume you are waiting for the photos being developed, as digital cameras have not yet been introduced to the Capies ??

about the same alt but we went inland. Climbed to 2000 and it was smoother for a while. However it was not at all bad, and the BB took it in it's stride.

You asking or telling??

Asking: "I know!!"

Telling: "I know!!!!"

What a bummer. Some unforeseen last action to make me "wishing that I was there!!".

Dare I say next time!! :( :(
