Vredandal Fly-in

Hi all
I am thinking of driving up to the Vredandal flyin with my dad!
Dates are 29 - 31st of August, I just am wondering who we will see, how long we should stay and what to bring!

A lot of us will be there. Morph, Gadget, Ranger, GR8-Dad, CLU-less, the Wintervogel Gang.

Bring bucks, and a sleeping bag and a tent, or book into a B&B

There is food and drink stalls music etc.

Nice to have
Hat, sunblock, sunglasses, camera, and a portable radio (lekker to listen to the guys in the air) and a jacket (it get's cold at night)

Am thinking of a touch and go there. Will definately go with you guys. Hopefully flying, and maybe a bit more further as well.

What do most people do... camp or do the B&B thing?
Hopefully i'll be out there but... my dad can take a bit of time to make up his mind!

Bring their own tents. There is showers and toilets. If possible they arrive on Friday and leave on Sunday.

African Pilot planning to cover the event and guess who will be there. Have a friend in Vredendal - will just have to bum a ride from Cape Town Int and back. Maybe i can do a trade deal: a lift for a bed. Will be great to meet some of the Capies at last.

Let's talk closer to the time. There are always guys driving up and down. Could even get your bum in a plane as well

When flying in on the Saterday - take note of the times for the air displays to prevent being put on hold for a considerable time.v
