Kalahari 2012 is happening again from the 23rd June 2012 till when ever... Just flying and flying all day long.
This is an event orginised by all pilots that want to fly and ground crews comming allong.

Venue : Koppieskraalpan (alongside Hakskeenpan)
Co-ords : S 26 59'44.32 E 020 14'47.16
Owner Tinus Conradie gives us Wood,water,longdrop and a "drom braai" on the pan.
Cost: I normally split the wood money between all attending.

Lichtenburg -Available (mogas & Avgas)
Delareyville - Available (mogas)
Vryburg - Av (mogas)
Kuruman - Av (mogas & Avgas)
Van Zyls Rus - Av (mogas)
Ashkam -Av (mogas)

On the list attending so long :
Group 1 from Lichtenburg club - Chinook,Beaver, T-bird, Cheetah's and 2 Ground crews and one couple comming along only to kamp an Saltpan.
Group 2 from Springs - Cobra trike .....
Group 3 from Kitty Hawk - Cheetah and Ground crew.

Av speed in groups range between 50Mph to 100Mph.

So this is for all to lekker kuier ,braai and fly.
