BlueMax & Cobra
It certainly will be a diviation, maybe some other time. Looking for you on google maps, with all the name changes, seems like
we are staying on another planet :?
I pasted the coordinates into Google's fly to search and ended up at Mounain sanctury park, I found Ntokozo at 24°58'46.90"S 27°53'1.54"E according to
the map on the lodges websit that Cobra supplied. Hopefully this coordinates are correct.

Will someone else please confirm the coordinates.
Thank you for the info so far Cobra.

Thanks to everybody showing interest in our runway. xxx

MPL Pilot you can also have a look at the following links for more information on the lodge and our runway.

viewtopic.php?f=2&t=12181

http://www.sibakalodge.co.za/runway%20ntokozo.htm

For the guys that was concerned about the length of the runway they will be pleased to know that for added safety

I have cleared an extra 200m to increase the runway to 600m (just keep in mind only 400m is levelled and compacted at this moment)

They guys wishing to only fly in for breakfast you are more than welcome, I will be listening on my handheld and if you are about 2 miles out I will clear

the runway of our resident “runway inspector” the blesbuck

Looking forward in meeting all of you vhpy

Hi Guys

Just a quick check on the World Cup flying days

It seems like the 10th will be a complete no-fly day as with the opening of the WC. this is the finals so no FAC to be approved?

Any info on that or will we be given special permission to fly out of the no-fly zones?

Thanks
Piet

This is a bit confusing MPL, your coordinates puts Ntokozo close to (South West) Bela-Bela, the ones on the VFR page is close to Harties but on their map it shows it closer to your position.....

Would love to join, sounds like fun vhpy

Fly safe,
Rudi

Edit: Ok, tried the coordinates on the Ntokozo web page and they agree with yours Pierre! Flew over there last Wednesday!

I've applied and have received FAC codes for flying without problems.
Even the transponder does not seem to be a problem outside of the 10NM radius.

As long as the FAC is applied for and the Flight Plan is then submitted, flying out of the no-fly zones should not be a problem.

We'll try at least!

There won't be a problem with the FAC or the flight plan! Ok, think this one must be done, will see if I can arrange the time!
