Ek vlieg met n Bush Baby en Dawie met n Savanah so dit sal lekker wees as jy ons join.
Vertrek Saterdag oggend en kom Sondag terug.

BEL MY OP 082 825 6271 dan kan ons die trip bespreek. Ek skat Bloem sal omtrent 6 aeries oplewer.

Looks like Kitplanes will be there with a Bushbaby and Explorer. (^^) We would like to see as many Bushbabies and Explorers there as possible

We will be about 4 trikes from Centurion leaving on Friday 28th flying via Vaal Dam and then returning on Sunday morning. How many trikes from Petit, Microland or Rhino? Maybe we could meet up somewhere

Please take note of the following for the FABM Airshow:

1. Please if possible to file a flight plan to and from FABM (There will be fax facilities at the FABM Airshow for your Flight plan back).
2. When following line features please to have the feature on your left hand side.
3. The ATC’s will be in communication with FAJS and will listen out on 124,8Mhz, depending on the radio range.
4. Start to call FABM Tower on freq: 120, 2 MHz at 15nm’s and follow your intended VFR routing. (ATC will listen out on 124,8Mhz)
5. If there is too many flights inbound expect to hold at the 5nm’s mark and wait for your turn.
6. Joining might be direct from your holding point otherwise expect to join over head.(or other wise instructed by ATC)
7. Please uphold Airmanship.


Joining/Routing for FABM:

Joining from the North of FABM:

1. Routing from Heilbron to Petrus Steyn (R26) direct to Danielsrus (15nm’s) to Tweelingkop (10nm’s) expect routing to Northern edge of Loch Lamond Dam (5nm’s) in the vicinity of Bohlokhong Town.

2. Routing Outbound will be the opposite for the inbound

3. Routing from Lindley (30nm’s) next to R76 towards Bloukop (15nm’s) to 10nm’s from FABM, expect routing to Loch Lamond Agr research Station (5nm’s).

4. Routing Outbound will be the opposite for the inbound

5. Routing from Reitz/Petsana direct to Danielsrus (15nm’s) to Tweelingkop (10nm’s), expect routing to Northern edge of Loch Lamond Dam (5nm’s) next to Bohlokhong Town (crossing the R26 and railway line).

6. Routing Outbound will be the opposite for the inbound

7. Routing from Warden (WDV) 40nm’s follow R714 to Kransfontein (14nm’s) to South abeam of Sherbrook (10nm’s) from Sherbrook expect routing to North-Eastern side of Saulspoort Dam.

8. Routing Outbound will be the opposite for the inbound

Joining from the East of FABM:

9. Routing from Harrismith (HS) to Kestell (20nm’s) follow N5 to 10nm mark (Crossing of Liebenbergrivier and N5 South abeam of Langberg) , Expect routing to Saulspoort Dam (either North or South of the Dam) or expect routing to Southern tip of Loch Athlone.

10. Routing Outbound will be the opposite for the inbound

Joining from the South of FABM:

11. Route from Clarens (15nm’s) along R711 to Dihlabeng Rural (5nm’s), expect routing to Southern Tip of Loch Athlone.

12. Routing Outbound will be the opposite for the inbound

13. Routing from Ficksburg (FB) to Fouriesburg (24nm’s) along R26 to abeam of Retiefsnek (10nm’s, Expect joining at the Western side of Gerrands Dam (5nm’s).

14. Routing Outbound will be the opposite for the inbound

Joining from the West of FABM:


15. Route from Senekal to Paul Roux (25nm’s) along the N5 (East bound) to Meyerskop (10nm’s) routing to 5nm mark along N5 to the Western side of Gerrands Dam for joining.
16. Routing Outbound will be the opposite for the inbound.
