Weekend trip to Thaba Moi - 18/19 July 2009

Hi all,

Needing no excuse for a trip away, we are planning a 2 day trip to Thaba Moi (Near Entabeni) on 18 and 19 July 2009. Dinner, bed and breakfast at Thaba Moi is R350 pp and fuel will be available at the camp.

We will be leaving Microland early on 18 July and flying via Nylstroom to Thaba moi. Returning 19 July.

Being a "new" pilot, and embarking upon my first fly away, I would also appreciate some extra info.... co-ordinates, radio frequencies etc.

Heartbreaking!...........That is the only way I can describe it!

As I write this the guys are on their way to Thaba Moi for what will no doubt be a great trip.

I on the other hand, am sending emails to Powerfin USA to ascertain the cost of a replacement blade for a brand new composite prop which decided to attack a large stone that got in its way yesterday. The prop however lost the altercation with a 2 inch seperation on the leading edge of 1 blade. The scary thing is that I did not even notice that anything had happened and the prop was still smooth as silk.

Anyway, sorry to drop you guys at the 11th hour. I trust you will all have a ball!

I just hope that I can get the new blade in time to have it fitted for the trip to Numbi in 2 weeks time.

Oh well..........
