All weather websites get there data from the same sources. That is normally why all give you approx same data. And also why all can be wrong at the same time.

Fly time might be minimized this weekend.

When are you upgrading moreesburg runway?? Flew over it end of may, did not try to land though.

I guess there aren’t a lot of people interested in flying. Some of the farmers that are interested in flying have there own runway on their farm.

There are two runways (Google Waypoints)
1. 33° 9.045'S 18° 40.815'E
2. 33° 7.356'S 18° 39.628'E

Which one did you look at? They are regularly used by crop sprayers.

Maybe someday we can get enough support (and money) to upgrade one of the runways!

we had a look at number runway #1.

Money always the problem at small towns, esp if municipality don't have a interest.

We must meet up one day, maybe get together at sandkloof!!

If you want to blame anyone for this weather, blame my in laws. They arrive on friday, and are here until Wednesday. And it seems like that I will not be able to escape even for a little one this weekend. :( :(

You guys are making me nervous!?
I thought the weather was good (forecast at the mo), Leave tomorrow noon (Cape) in a gentle SE, dodge through Ceres, in the Tankwa valley stick to the mountains in a the gentle NE, bit of lift.
Sat, possibility of a once off day in the desert with some lightning.
Leave Sunday noon, climb over the mountains, maybe head NW first if there is cloud on the mountain and then ridge soar back to CT in the NW.

Can anyone give me the co ords for the burningman site?

Thanks.
