As you know the Springs Manne van Staal are doing a trip from Springs Around Cape Town and back.
See our previous post under “Manne van Staal to Cape townâ€. There have been some big changes made to the original plan, so that’s why we decided to open a new topic! The Manne taking part are MadDog, Lone Ranger, Wallfox, Big Man, Espresso, Wingman and myself.The New plan is as follows:
18 April Springs to Margate / Port Edward area
19 April Port Alfred Area
20 April Mosselbay
21/22 April Stellenbosch Area
23 April Oudsthoorn
24 April Surprise (Mystery Tour)
25 April Gariep
26 April Springs
(These are not necessarily “confirmed†overnight stops and will possibly change depending on WX and the number of Grandpa`s / Pubs available
, but the plan is to overnight in vicinity)We will visit as many microlight airfiels as time allows en route, so if you see a formation blasting by low level feel free to join us for a local flip, join us for a beer at the nearest pub, or wait for the photo taken at your airfield to be posted on the forum!
This will surely be a tour to remember and we will make sure the forum gets as many photos as possible!
