Hi Rudi, do you have accommodation details? I would like to book a bungalow for Friday night. I convinced the softness to join me on this one to have a look at the pretty flowers, I won't have space for a tent etc.
Will there be braai & beer packs for sale on Friday evening :?:
I'm sure I can get a couple more trikes from the area to join in :) Hey Porra, it's high time we dust of the flight suits and go somewhere outside the normal patch
I'll contact Dewalt and Tobie as well.
KBP Cobra, why don't we have an "Old Circus Boys" reunion, Would be great to have you fly down from Potties and meet up with us vhpy

 Deal!! Johan needs to do a x-country so i'll make this part of his training  Sounds great for KBP, always asking to meet half-way. Heres your chance Ludwig. (^^) But, we will only go in the morning and come back after brekkie. ##

We visited the known Cosmos spot, just South of Delmas on Saturday morning.
We found more than enough flowers already in bloom.
But moving on 1-2 weeks may be a good idea.

The Petit boys paid a visit to the Cosmos on Saturday - not as thick as last year but still very good. The best thing is the sweet smell at about 3 feet above the flowers!!

Sorry, I have been very busy lately so have not been here much!

For accommodation and other requests like braai packs please contact Stella @ 0820822362. She runs the restaurant at Rhino and is also in in control of the accommodation. Other that the bungalows there is also plenty space to camp for those who prefer that. We will make a big fire again in the evening for a braai and an "around the fire" social.

There will be plenty transport available so fuel won't be a problem, the new restaurant at Rhino is also fully functional, and licensed so that is also a good food and drink option.

I flew around the area on Sunday and there are plenty flowers about, all we need now is good weather!

Looking forward to a great Cosmos Run vhpy

Fly safe,
Rudi

What is the plans for Saturday? I am planning to fly in from Ingwe airfield and should be at Rhino about 7am. What time do you leave for the blommetjies?
I also need to return that morning as we have other things happening. It thus leaves me with an hour or so for flying with all the guys at Rhino.

How far is the Cosmos from Rhino?
