A few years ago we had the CAA and farming community onto us as some smart guys flew low over the confined cattle which caused a stampede ensuring that Microlights became very unpopular in this area . (**)
Please respect the farmers as they dont enjoy microlights buzzing them early in the mornig and or harassing the people workers and animals . ## ## ##
As a microlighting community we made use of the instructors at Microland to flip the folks at Beefcor to calm the tempers after some folks caued the damage (-) (-) .
I wll personally visit them tomorrow morning to inform them of the cosmos run - xxx

Please folks dont spoil it for others ,
Kind Regards Leprachaun
Hi Leprachaun,

Any thoughts on a badge - a lekke pink cosmos 2009 -
** How many , lets see if Shirley the MISASA badge maker can help ???
Thanks, we will come test Tant Ansies special Rusks !

The Badge sounds like a good idea, we can chat tomorrow when we have a few guys there, the idea has already been looked at and I am sure many people will be interested..

Rudix

Think we must warn the kitchen at Kitty Hawk of an invasion on Saturday for breakfeast. Otherwise (**)

Don't think Rhino currently have the capacity.

Can we join the fun in a Cubby? Possibly fly in on Saturday morning early to Rhino and straight home after the Cosmos viewing outing.

Hi Rudix,
You would be most welcome at Kitty Hawk if Lep can't get the irish burgers organised.
Contact Nico at the club-house on 083 334 4714 if you want to pre-arrange.

I will try and pop in (by foot unfortunately)

Hope to add a few more.

Perhaps, if someone could show a map identifying the neighbouring airfield's boundaries with radio freq, as well as the sensitive zones?

Unfortunately I do not have maps. Google is my map, easyplan, route planner etc.

This will give an idea.

Route from Secunda will miss all of the fields in the area. SRE till 5 miles out, then Rhino, 135,60.

If you visit the cosmos fields first, one will route past Delmas A/F - 125.40 - on route to Rhino.

Rhino park we use 09/27. LH 27, RH 09. If seeeriouus cross wind, one can ask for 03/21. -0< 21 not lekker past the hangars.
A/F Altitude 4780 ft.

Stay clear of the RC field.

Circuits to the south - west for 03/21) - of the field
