Wow, great shot Cobra !

At the moment no braai packs have been organized, I will have a chat to the person running the Rhino restaurant but if that fails we can always go and buy meat as needed on the day, there will be a few cars at Rhino and the field is not far from Rayton/Cullinan.

Everything is neat and tidy at Rhino, the runways are in good condition and the grass has been cut.

This is going to be fun !!

Hi Ian,

I agree, I like the top pic, but the shadow in the second one also makes it special.

You can always join us, even if it is for just a while !

Fly safe,
Rudi

Hi Rudix and other Rhino/Kitty okes,

We're 2 Trikes from Circus that will definitely be joining you guys on Sat morning. Another 2 or 3 will possibly join and we're flying via Klip to see if there's someone there that want to join. I just have a few questions and would appreciate if someone could help me out :)

1. Where should we go first, Rhino, the cosmos fields or Kitty Hawk. We'd like to join up with a some of you as we don't know the area and where the best spots are.
2. Are there any special procedures, heard that it can get quite hectic with a swarm of trikes buzzing the cosmos fields
3. Are you operating on 125.400 or a different frequency, does Rhino and Kitty have dedicated frequencies?

We're leaving at 6am sharp and should be there around 7:15, WX dependant.

Thanks in advance,
Mike Skinner.

Hi Mike !

Great that you will be joining us !

I think the guys at Rhino will leave pretty early for the Cosmos fields, how early I suppose will depend a lot on the night before vhpy I think you should head towards Rhino and listen out for us on 125.400 and 123.450 (chat). If you hear us give me a call (will be in AEN or AVB) so that we can meet up in the air. I will be in a plane a bit faster than most trikes so I can come and meet up with you and lead you in the right direction if the 'swarm' has already left for the cosmos fields.

We will only be going to Kitty hawk after the first cosmos trip so we won't be there before 9/10 or so at the earliest.

I am not sure about special procedures, I suppose we will discuss it on the ground on Friday, I will see if I can post it here Friday, will take a laptop with 3G along.

Rhino's frequency is 135.600 and Kitty hawk is 120.650. Along the way you will also be passing Petit on 133.200 and Bapsfontein/Microland on 120.350

Looking forward to seeing everyone, let's hope for great weather !

Fly safe,
Rudi
