An action packed program is planned and the highlight of the day will be a simulated “Air Attack” with full scale Pyrotechnics, followed by an aerial water bombing of the fire created by the “air attack” by Working on Fire - Dromader water bomber aircraft.

Many other flying and static displays including; Aerial FX Skydivers, Goodyear Pitts, Radio Pulpit Extra 200, "Fly it like you stole it” Giles, Bush Air C172, R44, Boeing Stearman, Yak52 “Gorilla act”, NAC PAC750 and Safari Airways Embraer 120. Plus more..

The Harvard Club of South Africa will be giving flips in a Harvard.

The VIP After-Party in the Bush Air hangar will be the best ever and furthermore we challenge all SA airshow organizers to beat it! Airshow after-party's are an important part of an airshow as it allows for all participants to socialize. Unfortunately this is seriously lacking at most SA airshows.

Arrivals Fri 7 Sept:
Controlled Airspace 5nm radius Freq: 120.20 If no Tower then use unmanned procedures. Arrivals all day. Some delays can be expected due to practice.
Visiting aircraft can arrive anytime throughout the day however there may be some delays due to practice or validations. In the event of weather conditions preventing pilots from arriving on the Friday it is recommended that pilots consider arriving a day earlier or the Saturday morning.

Arrivals & departures Sat 8 Sept:
Controlled Airspace 5nm radius Freq: 120.20 8am to 6pm local.
All visiting aircraft to be on the ground by 9:30 am, departures after 4pm. However in the event of early morning fog or cloud then the arrival cut off time and show start time will be extended or waivered. (No departures will be allowed during the airshow!).

After landing:
Day visitor aircraft to park in 1st available parking area on the right hand (East) side of runway 35. Follow marshals.
Overnight camping aircraft to park in camp site on the left hand (West) side of runway 35. Follow Marshals.
Participating airshow aircraft to continue to taxi to the top end of runway 35 and expect parking on the right side of runway in front of the spectator line. After securing aircraft, all pilots and crew must register with a marshal or at the show office to receive your ID wrist bands and aircraft stickers.

Campers & Day Visitors:
Everyone flying in and camping please download registration and indemnity forms from webpage http://www.bushair.co.za/airshow.htm and email completed forms to nadine@bushair.co.za Entrance is R70 Adults and R30 Children under 12yrs. Camping is R100 per aircraft/vehicle.
Volunteers will receive free entrance and camping.
