Other than a bit (12mph?) of wind from the North the weather is looking good! Looking forward to the visit, the Rhino guys will be in the air early, hope there is no fog....

Fly safe everyone, see you there,
Rudi

Thanks to the guys from FAGL, the 4x4 club and Peter (Bushveld Blue), the breakfast, location and company was great!

There is talk that this might become an annual event, I hope so!!

In spite of the rather stiff wind quite a few planes arrived for the event with some of the trike pilots fighting a 25mph wind all the way, thanks for persevering guys (and girls), the rest of you missed out!!

A few photos.

03 at Peter's place, the runway is in a good condition and long enough for almost anything, thanks for making it available!!

Early arrivals.

The guys from Microland arriving.

With the strong wind the trikes had to put the wings into the wind.

Nice collection including 3 fixed wing planes!

See you at the next one!
Fly safe,
Rudi

vhpy vhpy Baie Baie dankie vir n heerlike brekkie en die lekker ervaring om weer op n nuwe destinasie te land..
From Elands Quadcamp it was 39 nm. and on going there it took me 40 min.. My ground speed was never under 60 nm ph. My return flight took an Hour and 5 min.
I flew about 3000 vt AGL and the return fligt was soft.

Dankie aan almal wat die brekkie bygewoon het. Jammer ons was laat van FAGL af, maar gelukkig kon ons onder die laaste druppels reen uitvlieg. Ons reel verseker weer vir volgende jaar.
Groete,
FAGL
