Hi Everyone
Yes, wasn't the flowers beautiful? Thank you for the tasty breakfast and "lekker kuier". I hope we will be able to do this every year. Thank you, Rudi, for a great morning.

A big thank you to the guys from Rhino for an awesome day out vhpy . Although we did not see a lot of cosmos we enjoyed the trip and clocked 4 hours of airtime on Saturday :o
It was great to meet JFK and beabeast, we had some good laughs over lunch at the Rhino restaurant. Thanks to Rudi for the hospitality and fuel, and to Leon for helping us find a bolt for one of the Cobra's spats that lost along the way, you guys are life savers :)
We'll definitely see you again soon, even before next years cosmos run
I'll post some pics of our trip as soon as I get them from Tobie.
Why don't you guys pop in for the Henley Airshow on 09May09, It's going to be awesome, hope to see you there :!:

Check out Cobra's post on page 9. Co-ordinates are spot on very nice fields.

Some of the pix I got. Unfortunately the pictures does not tell the story. The beauty of this fields ought to be experienced.

I'm going to kick myself now [0* [0* [0*

On route from Circus to Rhino and back we probably passed within 5miles from the co ordinates posted by Cobra. Thinking that we would meet up with someone at Rhino to go fly over the cosmos, I did not take much notice of the co ordinates #-0
Little did I realize that these spots are less than half way from Circus to Rhino [0*
I must say that Rudi tried his best to direct us to the spots closer to Rhino, it however looked as if most of these fields started to loose their flowers already. I must say we got knocked around quite a bit as we only flew out there after breakfast, we probably did not go far enough south :|
Nevertheless, we still enjoyed the day out a lot, I'm saving these coords now for next year vhpy

Nice pics Cobra, I heard guys routing in that direction after we passed Petit Saturday am on our way to Rhino, I first thought that you could not be part of the group going to the cosmos as it was in the opposite direction, If I only paid attention we could have joined you...

Till next year

I need some names for my story of okes that came from far . Let me know who flew in, with what and from where. And who stayed at Rhino for the week-end. Even those who missed the good fields like Skinner.
or email me with your experience and pics of the week-end.

I saw Cobra lurking near the bapsfontein tower on our way back from Rhino on Sat AM, should probably have followed them

Anyway, thanks for a great Brekkie at Rhino, was good to meet the other folks there.

Can you send me some pics Mike?
