The aircraft is an all aluminum 80% scale replica of the famous Spitfire. It is a seat aircraft powered by a 266hp Izuzu V6 engine with a Motec Dual Electronic ignition. The kit was professionally built by Robin Coss Aviation in Cape Town, South Africa. The are a professional build service mainly specializing in the Vans RV series. http://www.cossaviation.com/ . She is a beautiful replica of Sailor Malan’s aircraft (including his registration ZPA!) and was featured in the March 2012 edition of SA Flyer.

This is an awesome looking airplane, a replica of the airplanes my grandad use to tell me about as we sat wide eyed children listening to his war stories. The golden age of flight, anyone would be lucky to own such an aircraft. Good luck with the sale.
