After reading this, and CAR47a (updated version 2013)
all you have to do for a NEW registration, is fill in CAR47a, submit ID copy and pay the R570. Is this correct?
The aircraft I want to register is a Bushbaby. Has never been registered, never flown and doesn't have a reg.
Do you guys think I need any other documents?

That will get you a registration. The big job is the Proving Flight Authority...

I am currently busy with my registration. Some new things that were added are:
1. Letter from kit manufacturer confirming serial number
2. Letter of conformity from kit manufacturer
Without these CAA will not process your registration... I know!!
O, and dont forget to send them the letter with the build number as well... Although they have it on record, seems like they want you to send a copy of it with the application as well.
