Re: RV & RV4ker's (JCVB's) Explorer Project

I dont have the money right now for the instruments, only by next week, but have someone interested in Marthas engine. I need to talk to RVForker & Darrell, the ex partners in the fine Fokker Fellowship, but would want the boodle paid directly to the supplier to buy the instruments.

What was the problem with the switches, they are double pole double throw switches, 10A per pole & if paralleled out 20 A breaking capacity :?: :?: :?:

Ther switches is a overkill. I have already gotten the right ones. Most of the stuff is now here. Next week I can start making the panel..... Battery box made. Spoke ro Ranger, he will have the bits for the oil tank made up by middle next week, yes he is back in his workplace. (^^) The radio turned up here today with a HELLUVA lot of wires attached  These radios have their own intercom system??? Does not NEED that lose "station bomb"-type intercom system?? Can I PLEASE simplify?? Who is/was "Martha"? What did she look like?? Phodie? Have nice weekend. Drink less beer and buy more petrol, then you can fly more. (-)

Aaaag... V... - Sorry oooom Boet.

I am away and after (much) frustration I told my secretary to "just post anything that looked like a radio in my office to Boet". Keep what is not necessary in separate box - At least she removed the ASI and the compass    as well as the VM1000. Go mad and simply all you like. I will post the transponder and the 196 airgizmo dock when I am back in Jhb in Sept.

I am nervous of what might end up there if I try to explain to her to post these as well... ## ## ##

This afternoon we made and fitted the firewall forward cowling. The stubs are too short, so I made them longer, otherwise it will set the plane on fire! For the time being, the collector ring has, due to the lack off, been back-burnered. So stubs its going to be. The sound should be interesting. That is unless some rich uncle or somethin doesnt cash in and save us from the noise........ -0< -0< The cowl is off a kitfox, so it was too small, we have to make bigger. No problemo. We have done this before.... only a couple of times. vhpy Yes, and I measured prop clearance in the 3-point attitude = 17inches. More than enough.

Yup, it is me & I am not proud of this fact, my divorce has cost me 3 bushbabys so far & it is not over, slaughter me, I do not care, I simply do not wish the same circumstances on any fellow person. There is light at the end of the tunnell, the third partner in Martha is very interested in the project, we were supposed to meet on Friday, but his phone was turned off & he may be able to fund the last monies due immediately which means the Animal may fly very soon.

Please travel the same road I am on before you make judgement calls, the people who know me, know my integrity, George has funded the bulk of this project & I have had to concentrate more than my spare money on lawyer & advocate fees for a very complex divorce. I had to sell my beloved 235 & when I heard that the ex had a party to celebrate this, I bought my share in a bigger twin just to give the finger to anybody out there who cared, the ex certainly did. My children own the twinco in a family trust.

Enough of personal detail, please leave me alone, I have enough problems which are being sorted out, but the bottom line is that I am clawing my way back to having f u money again which will result in me flying in excess of 250 hrs per annum again, I cannot spend any money on recreation whether I have it or not because of the current circumstances. I have allowed both my license & medical to lapse because of the divorce but will be back.

Please travel this road yourself before you make judgement calls.

Sorry to hear of all your problems. I will look after your aerie well, untill we can carry on with it. I have been thru the same, so I know what you are going thru. You have my sympathy. Once things have settled, let`s carry on with this project. I am just as keen to see it fly as yourself. Keep on smiling! vhpy vhpy vhpy
