My friend MAK got his GPL on Saturday.

Flew all the way to Parys, from Pretoria, for a flight test, and apparantly had a very interesting journey back, ducking strikes from above. Seems like he had his fire christianing as well. 4.9 hrs all and all.

Well done mate, and congrats.

Now you will find out why it is all worth it.

P.S. The pic was taken the previous Saturday while we were waiting for the fog to clear to go to Parys for the flight test. Didn't happen !@#$%.

Thanx guys, it was a long but rewarding day. Everyone said you only start to learn when you get your licence, but I didn't expect it to be so soon after getting my licence. The flight back with the bad weather closing in on us was challenging. Old no 7, hope to hear about your soon.
