I promissed Elmarie from SAGPA that I will arrange a weekend (or more if the idea catches on) away early next year.
We are based at Kitty Hawk, but Springs etc is just as close.
Please comment on placed that you have visited say 2/3 hours away.
My plan is to leave on Saturday morning, have lunch at the first stop and proceed to the overnight stop.
After breakfast on Sunday morning return to home base, with or without a stop.
Please comment, i will put it together and make reservations.
Let us show the trike brigade we can also have fun together!!!!!!!

I had a call from Roelf Palm of Friday, telling me about his trip nortwards during the second weekend of February.
What I remember was first stop Potgietersrus, refuel, breakfast.
Then northwards to Messina and back to Tshipise for overnight.
Return on the Sunday. (He had a lot more details.)
Please contact Roelf for more info and to put your name on the list.

I spoke to Roelf on Saturday.
I could not attach the Easyplan route, only a screendump.
PM me and I will forward the route to you.
Hope to see you all and please remember, saftey first.
Always be aware of the position of everyone in your group!
If our group was not so large from Kitty Hawk already I would have invited you to join us from Kitty Hawk northwards.
Note: My parents stay in Naboomspruit, that is why I want to fly their first.
The whole of Golfpark (close to the golfcourse) will be looking out for us.

Hi Eggbeater
I recon if we depart no later than 7:00 we should be on time for Potgietersrust.
I will contact Ingmar and Charles to see if they join us.
Any other pilots from Kitty Hawk, welcome to fly with, please tell us who you are.

What a weekend.
Thank you to all the Gyroplilots that join the expedition northwards.
Roelf, thanks again for arranging this and we look forward to the next one.
You said earlier today we would go south next time.
Please post as many pictures as possible about the trip.
I learned that taking the equipment and material to fix a flat tyre is essential. What have you done on a jack arrangement that is not heavy, take up a lot of space, and can lift the plane high enough?

Hi All
Where are the photographs?
Never before in the history of humankind have so many cameras been used to produce so few pictures.
I will try to post three below:
