Handling Sense

The UK CAA and BRA have published a document called Handling Sense 04, Gyroplane Handling Performance. A nice refresher for all of us. They mention that Mogas in Rotax engines (or all engines, not sure?) not to be used above 6000ft :shock: :shock:
I wasn't aware of this.

Would be interesting to know what fuel Arthur Gemperle used for his altitude record in a Magni a while back. If he does not read this thread, I will email him.

Just spoken with Arthur, who used in a Magni Unleaded Mogas for his altitude record to 23,000 feet.
However, if any of this is true, I am sure that the Rotax agents would know about this and sent a notice to all users.
