Is there a reason why nobody have tried this ?

3 liter Jab engine 120 hp lighter than 914 which give you 115 HP for 5 minutes 100 Hp guaranteed.

I stand to be corrected, but a small diameter prop in a pusher does not work to well, and jabi's like their cooling, perhaps in a fully enclosed, streamlined single seater.

I wanted to put a Jabi 120HP in a Xenon. The local agents have no interest and do not even reply to e-mails.

If you say; "The local agents have no interest", do you refer to the Jabiru agents or Xenon agents?

I also thought it could ba a viable option.

I am talking about the Jabiru agents. I have sent pictures of the Xenon to explain that it would be a pusher, might have heating problems etc... and I had to follow it up with phone calls. Two years later, I am still waiting. A bit late now as I have fitted a brand new 914.

From what I heard there is a long waiting list for Jabiru engines if not used for Jabiru plane. Could explain why they never came back to you. But I must emphisize it is hearsay.

Then a simple email would explain that ! Nothing like keeping potential customers informed.
