One step closer!

The Magni M24 Orion's got their Y number from CAA/RAASA yesterday!

Officially their type will be Y026.

Now for travel arrangements to be made for the conversion and the collection and ferry flight to Cape Town.

I will take lots of pictures and keep you all posted.

Hi All

Just to update you, everything has been done with my M24 and the plan is to convert and ferry it to Kitty this coming Friday. Hopefully there will not be a cloudburst or anything like that to delay things any further.

JetRanger, when do you anticipate doing your conversion? I know it is a bit out of your way if you are ferrying back to the Cape but if you need a hanger for a night or so I am sure that we can arrange something at Kitty.

Hi Llewellyn

My plan is to come to JHB on Wednesday night/Thursday for a conversion with Eric, fly the proving flight hours Thu/Fri and then head back to CT on Sat/Sun - all things being equal and working out. My softness is coming along - she obviously trusts the M24.

Thanks for the offer, I certainly look forward to seeing you and possibly flying with you, 2 M24's in formation will be a first in SA!

Chat soon

Rgds
