Getting a trike back in the air

DNP has been in the garage for close to 7 months now and going to be put back into operation later this month. She has been inder wraps in a dry garage, I did all I could with regard the manual to store the trike (was expecting it to be iether stored for another year or shipped via sea container so I did my best to preserve it).
what should I look for in terms of possible damage that occured while stored? Corrosion ect.
The authority to fly has lapsed so needs to be APed anyway so they will check just want to do my own checks.
Is there an aerotrike agent in the Cape Town area? I broke a couple of batton clips when i derigged the wing.
