Why microlights are safer

I was reading the tread on Avcomhttp://www.avcom.co.za/phpBB2/viewtopic ... 72867e29f9
I feel badly for this man
See http://www.ainslie.co.za/shoddyjob.htm
And they say microlighting is dangerous
80% of the problem is the "pro" that looks after your plane is not flying your plane
There we have the advantage already :D
Also when one does the walk-about the plane, everything is open for you to inspect
so if it does not look right it wont fly right
When I bought my Basic (MXII) before I even found a flight school
( topic for another day) I decided to have everything checked out by the "pro", there was rumour about his work but he assured me it was spread by malicious people
Here is a short list of things that went wrong:
The back-up cables snapped as I was taxiing back to the hanger, he used these cables to to bear load
The first time I went two up, the plane become a prop driven go-cart, racing up and down the RW, the pitch of the prop was completely wrong
The bearing on the reduction gear didn't last 2hr
When I inspected the main axial it was one big crack waiting to break
The question is do we name-an-shame these individuals or will we face angry lawyers if we do
Please share similar experiences
