Flushing out the crank case of a 582?

If one was to change from using full synthetic oil to a mineral oil, how would one go about it?
Is there any specific method of flushing the synthetic stuff out of the crank case? Since the two oil types dont mix, what about things like the oil for the rotary valve, filters in the carbs, main fuel filter etc....... should these items be replaced?

As a matter of interest to the guys out there who are using full synthetic oils, what is the correct mixing ratio?

Hi,

If I were you I would Test it first, mix up the 2 and let it stand for a week and see.
Mix oil and oil, and a second sample of oil and fuel of both types to see if it is compatible, before you teardown or flush anything.

Hi Rudi,

Heat may also play a role in all of this. I'm going to stick with the synthetic stuff, or at least untill I have a better understanding of how to change oils. The guys from aviation engines should be able to offer some advice.
