rotax 582 hrs TT limitations

As a new owner of a used aircraft, and newly certified pilot I would like to ask of the more experienced guys out there about the true life of a rotax 582.
I am only asking opinions based on experience. My aircraft(bushbaby 95) is 10 years old in April this year and has 267hrs on it now, and I have only just found out about the
300hr life span of crank/piston assembly of my engine.(the 10year time also) My area to fly in until I do my cross country endorsement is only 25nm radius of our local field.
I am mainly flying over open fields an farms and will be staying away from our northern border hills. Has anyone found that these engines are longer lasting enough to keep using
safely for a bit longer, ie 10% to enable me time to save to buy a new one as the rebuilt item is almost as expensive if there is enough safe areas to put down in.
I don't know if the engine has had the servicing done as specified every 25hrs etc as the maintenance manual states for the log book is not filled in with many details.
It has been run on Castrol TTS oil and premium unleaded. I have had 16hrs time in transit when purchased where it did not miss a beat to bring it home.
