Prop Protection

Hi,
Having someone apply this thick anti -chip 3M product onto my Trikes's prop.
Currently marketed to top- end motor dealers reducing stonechip and sandblast, applied to headlamps, bumpers e.t.c.
Costs R100.00 per side, doing only (3 *) engine leading edge side to see how it withstands.
Apparently, this product was originated in the 1960's to apply to chopper rotors.
any comments, experience?
