Wing tear approx 2-3 cm (any repair idees KP)

Have a stranger wing - saw on my after inspection a tear approx 2-3 cm on the bottom part of my wing (just before the washout tube of my left wing)

I think my prop picked up a stone on the gravel RW during take-off early today - the tear is in line with the prop on the left wing.

Any repair idees, emailed jenya but still waiting.

Do I have to derig and send to erossa or is their a alternative repair like patch work that are allowed and SAFE.

Have a look at yaghting supply shops, they have sail repair tape in different colours that just sticks on (do both sides if possible). If it is a load bearing area, rather have it sewn up. Check with your AP if it is OK to use the tape first.

Before you tape it sew it with Dental floss seperately ie stich knot, stich knot etc.
