Ballito: mandatory Transponders for trikes??

Postby Maybe » Mon Nov 23, 2009 10:37 am

I've heard a rumor that transponders are mandatory on a trike in the (i think) Ballito area? (not sure...but somewhere on the coast). Is this true? Or was it going to become mandatory?

Can anyone shed some light on the matter? If true, can anyone post a pic or two of transponders installed on a trike?

Thanks...

Ask Demon for a pic of the well documented class S transponder he (is supposed to) have on KWK.

Maybe,

You are correct. It is the ballito guys who must have them some time soon, I think. It is because they will fall within the airspace of the new int. airport at durban.
